Privacy Policy
Laiden ("we", "us") is a pre-launch project by Leiden University students. This policy covers the data we collect through our waitlist at getlaiden.com.
What we collect
When you sign up for the waitlist we collect your email address, first name, age, and gender. This data is stored securely by Resend (resend.com), our email service provider, using their Audiences feature.
How we use it
Your information is used exclusively to notify you when Laiden launches. We will send at most one email — the launch announcement. We do not sell, share, or use your data for any other purpose.
Data retention
We retain your data only until the launch notification has been sent. After that, waitlist data will be deleted from Resend unless you create an account on the Laiden app, at which point a separate privacy policy will apply.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@getlaiden.com. Under GDPR, you also have the right to access, correct, or port your data.
